Simon is a world-class operator of bulk liquid and gas storage and handling facilities and if required can provide a full range of intermodal and management services as part of a totally integrated solution.
In addition, our engineering division has a proven track record in providing infrastructure developments within our own terminals and at customers’ facilities.
Services also include the design and installation of advanced automation systems for stock management and road loading.
Our terminals in the north east of England boast easy access to major road, rail and shipping routes for receipt and onward distribution of product for clients operating throughout the UK and Europe.
Handling capabilities include large shipments, bulk breaking and tank containers.
We have a broad scope of gas storage facilities, including pressure liquefied gas storage for pharmaceutical grade products as well as industrial process gases such as butane and propylene.
Pressure vessels are designed and constructed to relevant international standards with pressure ratings from 0.0 Bar Absolute to 15.5 Bar Absolute, temperatures ranging from -40°C up to +50°C, and a maximum product
density of 1600kg/m³.
Vessels are available with dedicated piping systems for road vehicle loading and offloading, vessel recirculation and product sampling equipment.
Our UK terminals comply with regulatory bodies' requirements relating to the secure storage and handling of hazardous cargo, including COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards).
Our outstanding health and safety performance has been recognised by RoSPA.
