Working with Simon you can be assured that your products are in safe hands.
Simon’s range of capabilities and capacity at our eight wholly owned terminals can meet almost any storage challenge, while our experience in terminal management means that you will have access to sophisticated levels of engineering and management information.
Overlaying this capability is a wealth of experience in intermodal operations – integrating road, sea, rail and pipeline routes to give a complete understanding of logistics.
terminal automation stock control system (TASCS)
All of our UK owned terminals and the Shannon Terminal in Ireland are equipped with TASCS, a sophisticated software package designed exclusively for Simon by our in-house team.
TASCS offers Simon's customers secure, global access to live stock and account information and the facility to place dispatch and delivery requests remotely.
Simon has a wealth of experience in logistics and intermodal operations. Bulk liquid and gas products can be stored and distributed by ship, rail tanker, road vehicle or pipeline. Products may be brought in and stored to accumulate an optimum volume for onward shipment, or conversely may be shipped in and stored in bulk ready for onward distribution in small capacity vehicles. For a number of clients we have built pipeline links for transporting specific products from refinery to storage or from storage onwards to local industry.
