Simon has developed specialised engineering expertise in expanding and upgrading both its own and third party bulk liquids and gases facilities. We also have a track record of designing and implementing infrastructure development projects for third party clients. We have experience of engineering within exacting compliance and regulatory environments.
We offer this expertise and capability as project managers to our customers to enable them to develop their own facilities. We will undertake projects of varying sizes, from the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) feasibility study for the construction of one storage tank to the complete redevelopment of a site.
Front End Engineering Design studies

• examine technical and organisational requirements
• optimise long term logistical costs
Conducting feasibility studies assists in the decision-making process. By analysing and testing alternative solutions a best proposal can be recommended.
For projects involving expansion of current facilities, preliminary studies may include site audits to assess the condition of existing infrastructure. FEED study results are used by our Projects division to prepare an engineering design, together with cost and timescale estimates for procurement, installation and commisssioning of proposed facilities.
By working with our customers at the initial stages of a project we can help to ensure the operational and financial success of that project and optimise long term logistical costs.

We carry out detailed site surveys, including reviews of operations and legislation compliance requirements, as well as designing and implementing bespoke maintenance programmes for customers.
